Twenty years. Two whole decades of working through it together — every market, every product change, every "this is the year that breaks us" that didn't, and every quiet stretch where the work just hummed because we'd both put in the time to make it that way.

I don't think you can manufacture this kind of partnership. Either you find someone you actually want to keep showing up for, year after year, or you don't. We did. And the reason this thing works the way it does is because of how seriously you've taken every part of your end of it.
