Twenty-five years that built the kind of trust most people only ever read about. Sealed and signed.
[First Name],
Twenty-five years. I sat with that number for a while before I started writing this. It's the kind of stretch that's hard to believe and easy to be proud of, all at once.
Most of what I'd want to say is the kind of thing that's better said in person, over a long dinner, on a quiet Friday after the work is done. But for the record, in writing: there is no one I'd rather have done this with. Your steadiness, your judgment, the standard you set for yourself — those are the things that have shaped this, year after year, for a quarter of a century.
You have my gratitude. You have my full respect. And you have whatever I can do for you, for as long as you'll keep me around.
To the next stretch — same as the last. Same trust, same partnership, same care.
